Sorry not found. Why?

  When typing in my website address, I get sorry, not found. Why is this?
  All the other pages work fine but, not the header.

  When you delete the Hello World placeholder post you get a 404 (page not found) error. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ Not to worry because as soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  Hi Timethief!

  Thank you for your help.
  However, I have a simple website and do not intend to place a blog on it.
  If I do blog once to get rid of the 404 problem, will that be ok?

  That error message will not disappear until you publish a post.
