  “Sorry, that site address is unavailable.”

  This is the error I get whenever I try to update my site address to nessamoulay.wordpress.com

  I saw in the responses to this question that domains deleted over 2 years ago can be reused.

  Can someone please help release this domain name so I can use it?

  That answer is over 8 years old. The current situation is very clear: deleted wordpress.com subdomains can’t be reused.
