Sorry, that site is reserved!
-
I reserved lehighvalleymma.wordpress.com for my new blog. When I go into my blogs, I do not see this listed.
When I try to add it, I get the message that the site is reserved. I have deleted all cookies and completely closed out of Firefox. I did not user Internet explorer.
What is going on? -
Are you saying that you registered this username account in en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/lehighvalleymma and you now logged in under it and were unable to register the matching blog URL?
-
When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
If you own the lehighvalleymma username account
then you can log in as Admin under that account and register the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ If you don’t own that username account then you cannot register the reserved blog. -
Hello Timethief. This is what I did, step-by-step:
I logged into WordPress. I clicked the “My Blog” link. I clicked “Create Another Blog”. In the Blog Address white space, I typed “lehighvalleymma”. I named my blog in the “Name Your Blog” white space.
I scrolled to the bottom of the page and clicked the “Create My Blog” button.
I do not see this blog under the “My Blog” link. It said it was available initially. -
-
I posted my step-by-step instructions as to what I did. There is no account registered under lehighvalleymma. It is a blog that I created when I clicked the “Create Another Blog” link.
-
There is no account registered under lehighvalleymma.
The matching blog is reserved for the person who registered that username account.
-
P.S. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/lehighvalleymma was registered July 31, 2007 (6 years)
It seems you are claiming you own that username account so tagged this thread for Staff. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hello timethief.
Let me see if I can be more clear.
I have a wordpress account under a certain name. I have one blog there.
I clicked Create another Blog link and Named it as listed above. No one else had it before.
I clicked Create blog.
The newly created blog should be under My Blog link, but isn’t. I should now have two blog sites listed under my account.
I can’t be any clearer than this. -
that’s interesting form your last email. When I went to create it, it showed as being available. Thanks for letting me know.
-
Allow me to be clear.
If this is not your username account > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/lehighvalleymma was registered July 31, 2007 (6 years) then you cannot register the blog in question. If and only if you have registered the lehighvalleymma username account then you can register the blog with the matching URL, provided, of course, you log in under that username account.
-
So do you or do you not own this username account?
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/lehighvalleymma -
Hello timethief,
No, I do not own this username account. This is why the confusion: initially it said the lehighvalleymma was available, but it is not according to your instructions.
Thank you for clarifying. If you had not given the date it was registered, I would not have known.
It is too bad this is taken and no one is using it.Your help is much appreciated.

You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
