  I get this error when trying to follow a blog from the reader view. Typing the url into the manual entry also does not work. Neither does going to the actual site and clicking “follow”. I can safely say that I have not been able to follow another site by any conceivable means except by subscribing by email, which is far from ideal for me.
  I’ve read threads of people with problems similar to mine and it seems to be related to stopping spam following. I only follow 32 other blogs in total though and if memory serves I haven’t followed them all in a short period of time, unless “short” means within a couple weeks. Have I been flagged for spamming follows? If so, how can I appeal this? Thanks!

  Hi there,

  I’ve re-enabled follows on your site – it looks like your account getting blocked was a false-positive. This happened back in September, and the setting in our filters that was causing these have since been fixed so it shouldn’t happen again.
