‘Sorry, this comment could not be posted’ error

When I clicked the Reply button, I got the captioned error.
To post a comment, I had to go into the WPAdmin links, search for the comment, and use the Reply option there. My readers have no such option. I am wondering how many legitimate comments WP has rejected without explanation.
Incidentally, it was rather difficult to find this place. It seems WP wants to discourage bug reports.

RE: the error you received, would you be willing to log out and log back in to see if that helps? We’ve had some cases where cookies expired sooner than anticipated.
