Hello! I’m trying to create a new blog lazulum.wordpress.com but I get a message “Sorry this username and site is reserved.” although there’s no blog by this address.
Is it possible that the username and site can be freed and used again?

No.When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account and there is no time limitation on using it or not.
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

When I was looking at what was available in the realms of blogging and website I filled in the first form when I had an internet drop-out. As I was just “window shopping” and as it wasn’t a high priority I didn’t get back to it.
When deciding on wordpress I returned to register the site phiinthesky.wordpress.com, only to discover that it is reserved. Did I inadvertently register the site by filling in the first form before I lost my internet?
If so, am I able to recover the name?
Since then, due to computer problems and my computer being out of action for several weeks I have lost my hushmail email account I had set up for the website.
I have since registered phi-radio.wordpress.com but would prefer the original and I would prefer to stay with wordpress.

@4lazulum9 you cannot register lazulum.wordpress.com because we already have a user using the name lazulum and the site address is reserved for their use, should they want it in the future.
@maxashley if you want to use that site, you will need to log in as the user phiinthesky and then you can create the site. If you wish, after you’ve done that you can transfer the site to your maxashley username. If you don’t remember your credentials, you can try using our password reset tool, https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
