Sort posts by likes
-
I want to be able to see at a glance, which of my posts have received the most likes. So, perhaps a feature that can sort my posts by likes, with the most amount of likes at the top. Or, at the very least, when I’m glancing at a list of my posts, I would like to have a column added that shows how many likes the post received.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
So, perhaps a feature that can sort my posts by likes, with the most amount of likes at the top.To begin with, head over to the posts section of your dashboard and make sure you have the “Likes” checkbox from the “Screen options” up-top checked.
Once this is covered, go ahead and add the following to the URL of the page and click enter/return:
&orderby=like_count&order=descHope this helps, otherwise let us know!

Hi. Appending the extension
&orderby=like_count&order=desc
to the admin posts page, either in WP-Admin or Calypso didn’t work for me. In WP-Admin it produced a 404 page not found error. In Calypso the result is stranger; it switches to the posts on a different site, the invitee only WP.com Forums Help site, and the posts display normally, in reverse-chronological order. -

When I click on “Categories” in the “Posts” section from WP-Admin and right after on “All Posts” I get this URL in the address bar:
https://yourwebsite.blog/wp-admin/edit.phpBy appending the extension
&orderby=like_count&order=descI also got a 404 error. (before posting my reply above)Here’s what I did afterwards and worked though.
Click on “My Home” and right after on “Posts”. This comes back with a URL like below:
https://yourwebsite.blog/wp-admin/edit.php?return=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.com%2Fhome%2Fyourwebsite.blogWhere, with the above extension appended, it sorts by likes as desired.
Let me know if you get the same to work on your end.

Still didn’t work for me. No 404 error this time, but the post order doesn’t change at all for me. They’re not ordered by likes.

Hi there!
I’m also not able to make this work on my end, @anastas10s. Would you like to share a screencast of how you get to it?
@thegoddessattainable, while it’s impossible to order the post list by likes, you can view them ordered by the number of comments they have. You’ll see this option in WP-admin. To get there, you can enable the view from Account Settings.

Ah, interesting, this appears to be a feature of Jetpack, so it’s only available to sites under our Business and eCommerce plan, and our new P2 product.
Nice find!
