sorting blog entries into archives

  Is it possible to have different entries in different archives?
  i mean like, O have one before and one after archive, but as it is now all my posts are in both archives, i want to sort them out so all the posts made before a specific period of time is in the before archive and the rest in the after archive. Is that possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
