sorting categories

  I have 4 categories in my widget yet they seem to be sorted alphabetically. is there any way that i can manage how they are sorted?

  i’m trying to keep “RH Vision” and “Who’s Cenk” at the bottom and they will always contain only 1 post.

  as you can see i’m trying to use the categories widget instead of a menu bar on top of the site. if any better ideas/ improvements come to your mind please share :)

  Hi there – there isn’t a way to reorder categories in a widget, but it looks like you’ve discovered how to use a custom menu, which does give you fine control over what’s displayed in your navigation bar, and in what order.

  You can drag and drop the menu items to arrange them exactly how you’d like them – you can even make submenus!

  thanks again yes im gonna look more before asking questions from now on :)

  is there a short code to place the custom menu in the middle of the page? mine seems to be to the right and id love to be able to center it.

  also under the top posts widget.. the images are a bit misplaced i think thats because they arent all the same size. any advice on how to keep them tidy and uniform? is there a specific size or a ratio for width/ heighht that fits perfectly?

  Try this code to center the menu:

  #container {
     overflow:hidden;
  }
  #pagenav {
     float:left!important; 
     position:relative; 
     left:50%;
  }
  #pagenav li {
     position:relative; 
     right:50%;
  }

  also under the top posts widget.. the images are a bit misplaced

  There is a glitch in the Top Posts & Pages widget which is leaving the image blank on one slot for this page, which has no image – that’s what’s throwing things off at the moment. Our developers are aware of the problem and I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, you could try adding an image to that page.
