Sorting/Pinning posts possible?

  I am looking for a way to either pin a post on top of all other entries or to sort them in a way that displays the oldest post first.
  I am working on my poem blog and would like to have a short intro post to be seen permanently on top of all the others.
  Thanks for the help in advance :)

  PS: in case it’s relevant: I am using the quentin theme for that blog

  Yes you can create a “sticky post”. The place to look for instructions is the wordpress.com support documentation. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
