I am using the vote block and it worked last year so that people could vote for their favourite art work. this year’s page is not working. After voting, the vote does not register after one revisits the page. Has something changed??The vote does not register. did something change?

Create a Thumbs Up & Down Vote Button
You can use the Vote block to allow your audience to rate your work or express their opinion. On the left, a voting up button displays a thumbs up and the number 10, showing 10 votes. The thumbs down option is on the right, and shows zero.
It worked before, but no longer shows the votes live. I did find the results on my dashboard. I do not understand why it no longer works.
thanks for trying to help. -
Hi @valmesta,
Could you please share the page/post where you’re using the vote block, and could you let me know if the issue was with an existing vote block or a new one?
Often, this kind of issue is browser-related — please try clearing your browser cache. Here’s how: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi again,
Thanks for trying to help. I have cleared my cache. This all started when people contacted me to say that their vote was note showing. I have added a note to my web page to diffuse the problem.
Here is the page: https://stjohnsartcompetition.wordpress.com/home/votinggallery/
NO rush on this, as I am going for lunch! -
Thanks for sharing the link. Did clearing your browser cache work to resolve the issue?
If not, can you please confirm if these are new votes block, or the ones that you added last year?
-
I inserted new vote blocks. Last year after voting,, one could go in and see the results, but this year, when one returns to the page nothing is recorded. I have put up an announcement saying that I can see them on my dashboard.
-
Thanks.
Based on my testing this appears to be specific to your site – if I add the vote block to my test site the counts are visible.
So we’ve reported this to our developers to look into. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear back from them.

I have added new voting blocks to the system. Last year, after voting, one was able to go to the results and see the results, but this year, when returning to the page, nothing is there to see. has been recorded. Earlier today I posted an announcement mentioning that I would be able to see them on my dashboard going forward.

Okay, we’ve solved the mystery :)
It turns out Crowdsignal has a limit on the number of “signals” you can receive on a free account, a signal being any time someone submits a vote, rates a post, or responds to a poll or quiz. This is a lifetime limit, and tied to your Crowdsignal account, in other words, it starts accumulating from the first Crowdsignal poll you publish anywhere on the web (so not just on this specific site or even just on WordPress.com) and it never resets.
You can see their support page on this here:
Your account has reached this 2500 signal limit, so while people can still submit responses to your votes, the results won’t display on the vote blocks themselves unless you upgrade your Crowdsignal account to a paid plan. You can find details on their paid plans, all of which include unlimited signals, here:
Let me know if you have any more questions about this.
