Soundcheck audio tracks-widget
-
Good afternoon,
I bought the upgrade on my sight in order to upload mp3s onto the site.
An example can be found on this page http://churchselfies.org/2014/06/06/coming-soon/
However if I want to upload audios on the left hand side of each page (having added an audio widget) how can I upload audios on the left hand side of the screen as well as on the home page if an audio widget has been attached. How can I add audios for each category not directly into a post within a category. Thanks, AmandaThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
how can I upload audios on the left hand side of the screen as well as on the home page if an audio widget has been attached.
You can add as many Soundcheck Audio Player widgets as you need. So, if you need to add another one just add it under the first one in your Primary Sidebar. You can also add this widget to your Home Columns as well.
How can I add audios for each category not directly into a post within a category.
This unfortunately wouldn’t be possible as the categories are for posts not media files. What you can do is create a category for the audio files so they would be all in one place. This way, the actual audio player wouldn’t show up in the Categories Widget.
However, you can set this up manually. What you can do is create a Text Widget and add the audio player shortcodes that you need. For example it could look like this:
June Audio Files:
[audio mp3="http://churchselfiesdotorg.files.wordpress.com/2014/06/june-28-2014.mp3"][/audio]Add that to the widget and it will show up like this:
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Thanks Grace,
On this page http://churchselfies.org/category/audio-daily-selfie-guide/
I replaced the audio with an audio titled ‘June 28 2014’ yet the audio post on this page and every other page with an audio function still title the audio in my previously saved audio (‘daily selfie guide 1 final’). How can I change this to reflect my new saved audio title?
Thanks in advance, Amanda -
Hi Amanda,
I took a look at that page, and I see the title “JUNE 28 2014” that you mentioned. Here’s what I’m seeing: https://cloudup.com/coNSw9i2LJE
It’s possible that the change you made just hadn’t fully updated yet, or the page needed to be refreshed in your browser. In cases like that, you may need to clear your browser’s cache to force it to refresh.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
