Soundcloud code embedding
-
My Soundcloud embed code is not working. It always states on the <Preview post> screen: “This track is currently not available” when I actually follow WordPress’ and the Soundcloud Share code that I’ve copied & pasted into my post. Help!

Hi there!
The problem lies with your track’s settings on Soundcloud. Can you check this post on the Soundcloud website and double-check your sharing settings there?

Hi csonnek! Thank you for your help!
I followed that first link and I was unable to locate where I find “enable widget sharing in my settings.” Is that done via WordPress settings or Soundcloud? And FYI, the Soundcloud set I’m attempting to share is already publically available on another site as well as on Soundcloud’s site. This tells me it’s something on WordPress maybe?
Also, yes…I often clear my browser’s cache and cookies so that isn’t the issue.
Thanks!

The widget sharing settings are on Soundcloud’s website. I’m not familiar with their user interface, so I’m not sure where that setting would be located.
Also, can you provide the link to the file itself on Soundcloud? When I followed the track link in the shortcode, I got this error message:
http://d.pr/i/QtiiFor the embedding, can you delete the code you have and follow the steps outlined here to get the embed code again?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/soundcloud-audio-player/Since we block iframe and other scripting code in posts and pages, I just want to make sure we’re getting the pure WordPress-specific code that Soundcloud offers in their embedding options. All my research on the topic is that Soundcloud isn’t allowing the track to be played on another site when the “This track is currently not available” message comes up.
Let me know how it works this time. Fingers crossed!

Woohoo! Thank you csonnek! Following the exact steps in that 2nd link there (above) did the trick! It is working just fine now.
Many thanks for your time and assistance!
