  how much free space is 3 g’s-for instance-can we post videos, and have people comment-when would we run out of the gigs, another words.

  There is no space limitation for posts, pages, comments, etc. That space 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images ie. it applies only to Media. I have been here for 6 3/4 years and I have used only 74.9 MB out of 3.0 GB upload limit (2%). http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

  3 GB is enough storage for thousands of properly compressed image files.

  If you want to upload videos, you’ll need to purchase an upgrade:

  But you can embed your videos on YouTube or other sites without an upgrade and without using any of your free storage space:

  Comments, your own posts and pages, and the amount of traffic to your site is not counted against the amount of storage you have.
