Space between lines when writing text
-
When I go into the Text Editor to write and get a space between lines every time I press Return.
For instance I am writing a list of ingredients and I press return after each entry, there is a space before the next entry.
I cannot see anything in the Format drop down menu to correct this. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It works the way it should in the html editor. In the visual editor you need to press shift-return.

shipscook,
Away from the topic of your question, but you should know:
The link to your blog is incorrect. This is what is linked to your blog:
http://shipscook.wordpress.com/wp-admin/profile.php
That brings wp users to their own dashboards.
This is what you want to link your name to:

Thanks for the replies
This is the first time I have tried setting up a blog so excuse the basic errors.Ites, I have corrected the link, also I noticed on your blog you use a bulleted list for ingredients so I think I will use that method, in a couple of years time my blog might be as polished as yours!
What theme do you use? Thanks again

Well, thank you very much. And no worries: we were all beginners once.
The theme is Digg 3. But you can make unordered lists (bulleted lists) in any theme—there is an icon in the visual editor for doing them.
The best way to type in recipes is to do it in the HTML editor, then you don’t have to remember to press “shift” every time you press return. Once the recipe is typed, then you can switch to the visual editor and add formatting. The unordered list can become especially confusing if you are typing and formatting at the same time.
