Space between paragraphs?

I’m trying to leave a space between paragraphs. I do that in my drafts. But in both the preview and the published blog post the space is gone, and the first line of a new paragraph is butted right up against the last line of the previous, as if it was part of the same paragraph. How do I insert a space? Thanks!

Hi place this code where you would want space( ) do not include the brackets and ensure you are in the text mode, not visual mode. If you need greater space just add the code again until you get the desired space only in text mode then you can switch back to visual mode don’t forget to save your work, hope this helps.
