Space between post and sidebar

  Hello!

  I am trying to put more space between my post and sidebar on this page
  http://brownmantrips.com/bulacan-discovering-what-is-there-to-see-in-bustos/
  the width of the side bar and the post are fine i just want to put more space between them. I tried changing the value on the compress css for the spans, prepend and append but nothing seems to be working or I may be doing it wrong.
