Hi Cat! I think you can do that!
Step 1: Drop a file into the Public folder {on Dropbox}
Step 2: Right-click this file, then choose Dropbox > Copy Public Link. This copies an Internet link to your file that you can paste anywhere: emails, instant messages, blogs, etc.
Step 3: Then to create a link in WordPress, while editing your post, click on the chain icon and paste in the URL field. (or the ‘mountains/picture’ and use ‘add media via URL’) You will paste in that ‘PUBLIC LINK’ you copied from your DropBox account.
I hope that helps, let me know if I can clarify anything!
P.S. I wouldn’t worry about using too much space, it’s really hard to do. But…
WordPress.com blogs come with 3 GB of space for uploaded files and images.
WordPress.com Premium includes another 10 GB of extra storage, for a total of 13 GB.
WordPress.com Business includes unlimited storage space.

Thanks so much. I’ve had blogs before on Word press and never seemed to run out of space, but this blog is about my books I’ve published and I just want to be sure there’s enough space.
You were very helpful. I’m going to save your email so when I’m ready, I’ll know what to do.
