space indenting
-
Hello. This is a repetition of an earlier post. In my site, the phrase ‘Bombus Press’ should be aligned with ‘The Galway Review’ in the public-view page, but it’s not. However, in the edit page the alignment was successful after pressing the UPDATE button. This is so strange. It’s incomprehensible. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Thanks so much.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy mloroqu!
Having a closer look at your website, the text seems to aligned correctly have a look here https://cloudup.com/ctvjO6euZzN
Also, to be able to manage your spacing, is there a problem where you view?
You can share a screenshot and explain us, we can try and help you further. You can make a screenshot using this guidehttps://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/Looking forward to hearing you further..!

Thanks, pavaraheja for your time.
It’s a small thing, but that small thing puts all the uniformity into chaos.
I’m just pissed right now. Totally frustrated.
Because whatever I saw in the PREVIEW of the edit page NEVER shows on the final public page. That is the problem…It should be as easy as a,b,c….but somehow there’s a new mystery that was never there months ago….
This sounds like I’m the problem now, because I’m ranting….but…welll…
Again, thanks for the attention. For some reason, each time I try WordPress, I end up going back to Blogger…

Now I’m creating a new page, just to see if I’ll be able to fix the problem. But I’m encountering a new problem. It defaults to double-space, not single space…:(

Hi Again!
I agree how important it is to get everything in place meticulously.
Here is some information which can help you with spacing better,
You can use some Advanced HTML techniques
Also, the staff helps with a Pre Tag here You can also use the pre tag. See here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/can-i-get-rid-of-double-word-spacing?replies=21#post-2512371And the Visual Editor to.
Please do let me know if I can help you further to make things easier.
Best Wishes…! :) -
Thanks!
I do know some coding. But the visual editor (as opposed to the html-editor) is a bit confusing, in terms of how it makes users think of the final display-result. Somehow nothing comes out right in the public display. But, yes, the HTML editor does help. That, I agree. I suggest revamping the visual editor here. I’ve used Weebly to make websites, and maybe I got used to the easy way its visual editor matches how the final result would look like….
This is also one reason I always recommend Blogger to folks who want to create their own blog or site.
Certainly, I am wrong in many of my assessments here since WordPress is no doubt a coder’s paradise…
Thanks again, Pav.
