Spaces and colours
-
Hello
I am trying to work out the spacing on my home page. I have looked at the poetry formatting section and tried the ‘preformated’ button as suggested. But the spacing jumps back when I hit ‘update’ – not on ‘preview’ though which is very frustrating.
Using preformated also changes the colour of my background. This would not be too bad if it would do it consistently – that is probably because I don’t understand HTML.
If you look at it now the home page is a mess. I know that there is one photo missing as well, I think I can deal with that. http://www.kerrydwyer.net
Thanks for any advice that you can give.

airodyssey – I could kiss you (I might have to lose about 30 years of life before you would want me to)
Thank you thank you. – I am totally bemused as to what that code does but it worked. The second one <br style=”clear:both;” />.It looks so much nicer now and the Home page is the most important.
Thank you
Kerry

Setting the alignment of an image to left means that the rest of the content will wrap around, that is, start next to the image instead of below it. If the text next to the image is shorter than the image, there’s still room left next to that image, so the next image will also wrap around the first one. The code airodyssey suggested says cancel the text-wrap effect from that point on.
