Spacing
-
Of late, no matter how may ways I attempt to place space between lines/paragraphs, I am not succeeding. This has only occurred on the last few articles. Why is this suddenly happening??
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
Just to clarify, what is happening when you hit return/enter while attempting to add space? Is the editor refusing to drop down a line? Or is the line an unusual line-height? Can you remember the steps you took before this abnormality began?
-
All will be spaced as desired. however, when I then go to preview or post, all the spaces are removed. I edit and re-edit the spacing..update..still no spaces. Again, this has only occurred previously..not on previous posts.

First, let’s check if this is your browser serving what is called a “cached version” of your page.
Depending on your browser, go to your settings > history and then look for “clear browser cache.” Here are detailed instructions for Google and Microsoft Edge
We are doing this because a browser will cache images, styles, and other page information in order to serve the page faster on subsequent visits.
Sometimes, the browser cache can serve an old copy of the page to you while it may be serving the newer copy to your visitors, so clearing the cache can sometimes fix any styling issues.
Please tell me if this resolves the issue, otherwise, we will troubleshoot further!

Nope, that’s not it. I clear all History, etc., nightly. I run security nightly and also CCleaner nightly. I’m only running into this issue on WordPress. :(

If you want to learn how to format and space your posts and pages in a wordpress.COM blog see: http://en.support.wordpress.com/advanced-html/ Specifically see here https://en.support.wordpress.com/advanced-html/#extra-line-breaks
You can also use the pre tag. See here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/can-i-get-rid-of-double-word-spacing?replies=21#post-2512371
If you use the classic editor here Dashboard > Posts > Add New to create your posts what I provide below may be helpful.
In the classic editor, if you are working in the Visual editor, to get single spacing between paragraphs hold the SHIFT key down and simultaneously click ENTER at the end of the paragraph. If you are working in the Text or HTML editor, a single click of ENTER will give you a single-spaced line, and two clicks of ENTER will result in double spaced lines.
Whether or not you are copying and pasting go to > Dashboard > Settings > Writing and enable this setting:
Formatting
__ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically
“save changes”IMPORTANT NOTE: When you create a new post, always make sure the Format tool is set to Paragraph before you start typing. It’s in the Visual editor Row 2 first position “style”. See the illustration here http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2 If you forget to do that then edit the post, highlight all in the Visual editor, select Paragraph from the Format tool, switch editor to Text then switch back to Visual and click Update.
