spacing and full width center question

    I would like the title of my site (my name), the menu and slider to appear on the screen together. Now, in order for me to read it in a font big enough, they do not appear together.
    So I would like to reduce the spaces between those sections. Or any suggestions?

    Also, would it be possible to include more than one quote in the full width center?
    I would like to include quotes from reviews of my book. If not, any suggestions on how to do this?
