spacing between end of para and new block shrunk

    Hello, this might take a while to explain. usually when I finish type a block the New Bloc + pops up at a decent space underneath the last content. IE: default, normal operation.

    However for the past few days the + and orange (?) line comes in the middle of the last line of content – as a strike out. This makes editing the last line a tad tricky.

    Clearly it is something I have done, inadvertently, hit a 2 or 3 key combination in error, but I don’t know where to look to solve it. Any help would be appreciated.

    Speaking of help, did there not use to be a big ? (HELP) somewhere on the editing page. Has it gone?
    If not, hmmm, I have killed that too.

    Hi there,

    I have visited your site but for me I seem to not be able to see this issue you are referring to.

    For me the “+” icon to add new blocks (between two existing blocks) does not seem to block any content. I recorded my screen so you can see what I see at this link: https://d.pr/v/1lQTaL

    Do you see something differently than I do? If so, does it help if you try a different browser, like Firefox instead of Chrome, and try to log in and edit a page that way?

    As with my question above, do you find this icon is missing only in Chrome, but not in Firefox? Thanks for the additional info!

    Good morning, Jerrysarcastic!

    That is weird.
    Nope, I sure do not see what you see and nope, the big ? is not there.
    I have forgotten how to load a screen shot in WP so will come back with that shortly. Need to surf for method. That is 1 part of WP support that I (personally) feel is a bit weak..

    Meantime, I am using Linux,Version 100.0.4896.127 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu, running on Zorin 15 (64-bit) which I think was recently updated.

    Ok, this gets really weird now.
    Just checking my editor again and yes, now everything is how it should be – and the BIG ? is present.

    Yet for the past week or so I have struggled with the orange+ and horizontal line popping up when I try to edit a block.

    And to prove I was not dreaming, here is a shot I took before posting here.

    I won’t blog post again till Thursday, we will see what happens then!
