Spacing Between Images on Blog!
-
I am re-posting this because I can’t seem to get any support. I tried asking about this a month or so ago and heard nothing and thought I might have gotten a reply by now today. Am I missing something?? Ok, here’s the issue:
Until recently I could post my images in my blog posts and have only a thin white line between each image. Now, when I try to center an image, it automatically creates a thicker white line between the images. Any idea why this is happening? How do I control the size of the white between images? I am assuming this is a “border” issue? Not sure. Can’t find anything that helps, especially with the part of it changing when I go to center my vertical images.
The posts on my blog now have spacing that is ok but not great – I have not published any with the spacing issue because I obviously want to resolve it first. Need to learn how to control image spacing, border/margins.
The blog I need help with is annophotographyblog.com.

Creating multiple threads ie. this is a triplicate thread does not result in getting help more quickly from Staff. In fact, it results in the opposite.
This is a peer support forum where Staff and Volunteers work together cooperatively to provide WordPress.com support. Emailing support means it takes longer to get an answer than posting to the support forums does. Please do only one or the other.
Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in order of datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Don’t bump your thread because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Don’t create a new thread or send an email for support either.
When bloggers keep bumping any thread thinking they are going to get service from Staff more quickly they aren’t thinking straight because that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response. The same is true if you email more than once the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.

Hi dawson74,
So, just to verify, you’re getting unwanted blank space above/below each image?
Would it be possible to make a post with a couple images in it to demonstrate the issue and then provide a link to it here? I know you said you specifically haven’t published anything, but if there’s something odd going on it will be much easier to find with a live example.
Thanks!

Also, just to be clear, the posts currently on your blog is how you want the images to look, correct?
And just to check, I’m assuming you have the custom CSS upgrade?
