Spacing Between Widgets in Widget Entry
-
Hello!
So I’m TERRIBLE at all of this and need your guys’ help. I am running Duena on http://www.sarahdurivagejacobs.com and in order to include IMDB in my social box, I had to use Widget Entry and enter the links individually. I did the same for my author bio because for some unknown reason I couldn’t adjust the font size. Does anyone know where on the stylesheet to adjust the padding/margins between widgets? Specifically using Widget Entry? It’s wonky and uneven in my sidebar and I need help!
Thanks!

Hi Sarah,
You are posting to the wrong support forum. We provide support only for blogs being hosted WordPress.COM and not for WordPress.ORG software installs.WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

http://sarahdurivagejacobs.com/ is using WordPress but it is not setup here at WordPress.com.
It looks like your style.css file points to http://www.cherryframework.com/free-themes/duena-free-wordpress-theme/
And they have a contact page with info about support at http://www.cherryframework.com/contacts/
You could try starting there if you want. If they aren’t able to help you, then you can also try http://wordpress.org/support/ which is the volunteer-based support forums for WordPress.org (which is the type of WordPress setup you have).
Does anyone know where on the stylesheet to adjust the padding/margins between widgets? Specifically using Widget Entry?
I’m not sure about Widget Entry, but I can try to help you with a little advice if you want to try to use CSS to make an update like that.
I checked http://sarahdurivagejacobs.com/ and I only see one widget. I’m not familiar with Widget Entry because that’s not something available here at WordPress.com, but here is a CSS example that will force the padding on paragraphs inside the widget I see at http://sarahdurivagejacobs.com/ right now to 10px:
.Widget_Include_Post p { padding-top: 10px !important; }Typically, for WordPress.org setups like yours, I recommend using the CSS editor in the Jetpack plugin to add custom CSS.
If you get stuck or still have questions, try posting at http://wordpress.org/support/ and be really specific about what you’re trying to change, what you’ve tried already, and where you’re getting stuck.
Good luck!
