Spacing trouble

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello!
I just wrote a new post on my blog, but for the first time I struggled with the space between blocs. On my draft page I could see the spaces I created between each paragraph, but on the preview and final page the paragraphs and indentation are not right. And it is visually uncomfortable to read.
Can you please check and advise?
    Thank you!

  • Hi there,

I noticed that in the editor view for your post you seem to be using empty Paragraph blocks (e.g. blocks without any text in them) as spacers.

However, while empty blocks like this do appear in the editor view, they are not rendered on the final view that site visitors see.

Instead I would recommend deleting those unused blocks, and instead adding a “Spacer Block” to create some separation instead.

I recorded a video at this link that you can play to see how this is done: https://d.pr/v/x4efpr

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Thank you very much! It worked and I didn’t know such feature existed! I always used empty blocs as separators but this time I needed more space than just one empty bloc, hence the learning :)
    Thanks again!
