Add topic to favorites
Recently I have mega-spam getting through. English titles and then reams of a foreign language. Why is that?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Mark them as spam, that way the spam filter will look for ones like that in the future.

@littlepatti, are these spams appearing on the Spam tab of your Comments page? (I believe so)

This means they’re being caught by Akismet. Just click the Delete All Spam button.

Hi,
Yes, on my “EDIT COMMENTS” page. I have been hitting Delete all spam button & they do disappear, but are back similar- the next day. about 5 per day. All other spam is being picked up by Akismet, so I don’t see them, but there is a counting i.e.: Aksimet has caught xxx etc. I wondered why these are getting through and how to stop it. Is there a place I should report this to?

@littlepatti, I can’t see any sign of a problem. Please contact Akismet Support – it will help if you can copy and paste some example comments when you do.

Thanks, I will do that next time I get it.
and by the way…I was just pressing buttons on my site trying to edit and recover something I had written, and forgotten to save (Yikes) a note came on “3-2-1 Wake up littlepatti-the matrix has got you, follow the white rabbit, don’t let it happen again.”
What the heck is that????

Where did you get that message, specifically? Sounds like the techies having some fun trying to tell you that you’re trying to do something impossible.

I was on EDIT page and a part-black box came up with the message 3-2-1 etc.
VERY FUNNY! It’s true I was probably doing something stupid. One thing I’ve noticed, I don’t leave enough time for a procedure to apply, and I start moving along to the next step and wonder why an edit doesn’t “take”. Patience littlepatti, patience. So much to learn, so little time!
