  when I’m looking in my spam folder and trying to decide if the comments are legitimate some are obvious while others are not. If the comment is for a particular post, should it always correspond to the post listed on the right side of the page? Could it belong to a different post? I get spam for posts that have not been viewed during the week. I want comments but I want to make sure they’re legitimate and go with the appropriate post.

  If a comment is about a particular post, but it’s not actually connected to that post, then something fishy may be going on. A great way to decide if a comment is actually spam is to hover over the commenter’s website URL to see if it appears to be a genuine website or just a marketing ploy.
