  Please can you tell me. I seem to be having all comments coming through as spam. Are all these messages genuine or fake ones? I need to know because I’ve let some of them stay whilst most have been deleted permanently.

  Many of those comments appear to be spam.

  Vague comments that include links to suspicious looking sites are often spam, so you should mark them as Spam again at the DIscussion page in your dashboard.

  Your reply and link doesn’t really answer my question. All my comments come through as spam. Do you automatically send them through as Spam or should I judge whether they’re genuine or not?

  When they match a certain level of spamminess, we automatically judge them as such.

  Otherwise, comments are left on your blog normally.

  Statistically, most of your comments will be spam, just like how most mail these days is just junk.
