  I would like to look at my spam to determine if it really is spam. How do I do that???

  On your Dashboard under “Right Now”. Just click on the number to the left of the word ‘Spam’

  You must also go to Settings > Discussion and enable the option “Don’t discard spam on old posts”.
  Keep in mind that 99.99% of the time Akismet is right.
