  Has the spam collection gone into reverse! I’m getting trash posted on my blog yet long term friends and commenters are getting put into spam!!!!!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sorry for the trouble! The best you can do is mark spam as Spam and unspam your regular commenters so that Akismet anti-spam learns.

  Thank you, that’s what I have been doing . Just wondering how long it’s going to go on for, there has been some not-so-pleasant stuff on my blog, I have to be very vigilant!

  I strongly suggest that for the interim, you moderate all comments.

  Frankly I moderate all comments on all my sites just to make sure that every comment gets a review. Sadly many legitimately sounding comments now are just human posted spam. Generally they’ll include a link to a site selling something.

  Why your regular commenters are getting caught as spam, especially if you are unspamming them, I do not know. But if it continues to happen please come back and post here.
