Scam filter is not working properly. Many spams get into the main comments.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
To eliminate spam comments from appearing on your blog, you can tighten up your settings. Go to your Dashboard and under Settings > Discussion, choose “Before a comment appears: An administrator must always approve the comment”, and that way you can always view comments before they go live.
There are other settings on that page you can play around with if you want to allow some comments through, but not all of them.
This page will explain your options in more detail:

I’ve noticed a lot of spam comments have been making it through Askimet in the last 2-3 days. I had five such comments come through on Friday (8/9), three come through on Saturday (8/10), and four over the course of Sunday night and early this morning. (They’re all on the same post, too, which is interesting.)
I have the comment settings set so I have to approve before they’re visible (and have marked each one as spam), but I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

Hi mghdiabeteseducation,
This sometimes happens, and the best thing is to mark them all as spam so you can help teach our system. We rely to an extent on our users doing that so our system can better recognize spam from the same source, or with the same content, in the future.

Closer to the latter. They’re presented as legitimate comments and I receive an e-mail asking me to approve them. Reading through them, though, it’s obvious they’re spam. This does happen periodically, and I mark them as spam each time it does. It just seemed a little odd to receive so many at once.

Oops, sorry , I did a stealth edit after re-reading your comment. :)
Also, it looks like you’re being caught in our own spam filter, so you should contact Akismet to have them take a look:
