Spam attack

  After adding urls and key words to my blacklist, as per Rachel’s instructions, I am still being inundated with spam. I have just renewed my Premium subscription, so having to endure this spam attack is really pissing me off. I’d really appreciate it if you could do something about it. I don’t want to have to shut down my blog to make this stop!

  Hi Diane,

  Is this comment spam coming through? I only see 3 spam comments in your spam folder on your blog (which is where we want them) with no pending comments.

  For the past couple of weeks I have been receiving spam on a daily basis. So far I have complained about this at least 3 times, but nothing has changed and I’m getting desperately tired of it, considering that I have paid for a Premium subscription. These are some of the sources.

  Hi Diane,

  I hope you had a good weekend. My previous question was trying to confirm the type of spam—comment spam or some other type?

  Since the weekend, I see two spam comments that made it into the comments section (unless you deleted others), which is where we want them. I don’t see other comments in pending.

  If comments are ending up in the Spam folder (at https://dianafuntanaesl.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=spam ), that’s great and what we want.

  If spam are ending up as approved or pending, that’s bad. If you keep getting them, can you leave them long enough for me to grab some additional information about them to pass to the spam blocking team?
