spam avalanche via blogpost 'contact-form'
-
Hi there,
I am recently being hit by a lot of ‘spam e-mails’ that I reveice via the contact-form that I use frequently in my posts. I am used to receiving a few of these, and that is normally no problem (I just mark them as ‘spam’ and that’s that.) I also tend to delete the ‘contact-form’ from my posts once they are not relevant anymore, which until now worked well to keep the number of spam messages low.
But now all of a sudden they have become very frequent and all attacking a very recent post. I am wondering what I could do about it?
The form of the spam e-mails is more or less the same all the time:
No message content, an obscure e-mail address and a website. See below.
Anybody knows a cure?
Thanks al lot in advance,

Hi thojoh,
I’m sorry this is happening to you. While we do catch a lot of spam before it ever hits our users’ sites/inboxes, sometimes spammers find a way around our nets.
Please go to your Feedbacks tab in your Dashboard and mark all of these contacts as Spam. That will allow our system to “learn” and get better at catching them.
