Spam-Backtrack~What is this?
-
I just found this in the Spam file which is a backtrack from someone taking my post (the words), posting it elsewhere with a different name, novatownhall, and which clicks back to my photoblog.

This is a WordPress blog.
This is my post but not my name. Here is my post that was posted this morning, 02-27-08:

I broke the links in the post.
Your content is being stole.
Check the forums for ‘dmca’ ‘whois’ to see options. -
So far, I cannot find ‘dmca’ or ‘whois’ here. Is there a specific place I can go to to report this? On this WordPress blog with my content and their name, it states one can leave a reply. When I click on this, it asks me to log in. I am logged in with WordPress and I’m not about to type in my user name and password there! So this is stealing and this is a bogus WordPress blog that has my content. And it is weird at that. What do I do now?

According to this: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=17307&replies=24
there isn’t much I can do because only an excerpt was taken and not the entire post.
So, I’ll leave it as that.

You can delete the comment on your blog right?
I get the same from Stackeo and I just delete the comment.
Maybe you already did that and are looking for more? If so, how about auto blocking option in WP? That can be done right. If ever a request from “stackeo.com” then automatically trash. ?? -
I’m not gonna give that person a hit, but I’ll assume he’s using the software downloaded from wp.org and installed on his own host. That’s why you’re seeing the login prompt.
