spam being sent to commentators.

  Some of my commentators have received an e-mail purporting to come from wordpress.com asking them to confirm or refuse (two different links) that they wish to receive e-mail updates of new posts on my site. I didn’t send these e-mails, nor do I have such an e-mail subscription service.
  To whom can I send these e-mails to ascertain where they are coming from and how on earth they are managing to scrape my commentators e-mails No one has access to the site other than me.

  We need the URL of your blog please (starting with http://) to be certain we are talking about a WordPress.com blog.

  My current blog is on wordpress.org.

  My host says it hasn’t been hacked nor has my e-mail account, the only place that could have been hacked is the old annaraccoon site which is at http://annaraccoon.wordpress.com/ which I no longer have access to.
  I am particularly suspicious of that site because the commentators involved are all old loyal customers who did post ont he old site during the few weeks I was using it.
