SPAM – Blogs I never signed up for are

  I saw that there was a blog that was started under my personal name that was somehow linked to a Russian porn site. I immediately deleted that blog and changed my password. Since that time I have suddenly been getting emails alerting me of blog posts when I didn’t sign up for any blogs. I have had to UNFOLLOW and UNSUBSCRIBE from at least 100 blogs since March 10th. This has never happened before on WordPress. Since I already changed the password once, and that is when this all started, how to I stop this from continuing?

  Hi there,

  Please change your password again and select a unique one that you’re not using in another online service. I also recommend enabling the two-step authentication to fully secure your account:

  Enable Two-Step Authentication

  It’s also a good idea to change the password (and enable two-step authentication if available) on the email associated with your WordPress.com account.
