Spam comments

Hello WP!
I really need somebody’s help!
Akismet has found about 30 spam comments on my blog, though I’m 100% sure that they aren’t spam at all, and, more important, I NEED those comments! Is there any possibility of getting to them?
Thank you in advance,
Ann

Firstly, do be aware that over 80% of all so-called comments submitted to blogs on this WordPress.com domain every day are spam. WordPress.com blogs are protected by the Akismet comment spam filter.
Secondly, note that the worst forms of spam that contain malware and malicious codes that could bring down our blogs is removed and we never see it in our queue for obvious reasons.
Thirdly, do be aware that new bloggers frequently assume that there are false positives in what has been removed and some have been so persistent that Staff have pulled it out and reported in forum threads what is contained. This lead to the embarrassment of the persistent as it was without doubt spam.
All that being said, you can examine the spam that has been sequestered in the Comment moderation queue on your blog. http://annefoxford.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=spam

Every day I see blogs wherein new bloggers have approved and posted spam comments on their blogs. Everything on a blog contributes either positively or negatively to your blog’s brand, and posting spam comments can harm your blog’s pagerank. That’s why I published a post with tips for helping new bloggers to detect trackback and pingback spam. I hope this helps. Best wishes with your blog. :)

98% of the comments that hit my site are spam
note also that the spammers are real good at the general comment thing –
a note about your site – it is SLOW to load – think about using the More Tag – you are irritating your visitors by taking a long long time to load.

Thank you for your priceless advice and help! I’ll make sure to check the moderation queue and use every word you posted here:)

Most people don’t realize that the majority of “information” circulating on the internet is spam. Some so-called comments are the work of robotic programs and some is created by humans who are hired to generate and submit spam comments. That’s why comment moderation is a good thing. You’re most welcome and best wishes with your new blog. :)
