Spam comments

  I’m curious as to what qualifies a comment as spam because I have one piece of spam “waiting to be approved” and it seems like a real person, not posting anything offensive.

  How does a comment get pinned as spam?

  I’m not sure how Akismet works, but it’s not 100% perfect. If you think that it’s not spam, mark it as ‘approved’ and Akismet will ‘learn’ from its mistakes. Beware though, some spammers may post legit comments first, get approved and then fill your comments with spam…
