Spam Comments?

  Akismet has apparently bocked 2 spam messages on my blog. I think they may have been from people following a link I put up on facebook. How can I make sure that Akismet isn’t deleting friendly comments? And if that is the case, is there any way to get the comments back? They aren’t listed in my spam comment folder.

  At settings > discussion, make sure that under “comment moderation” that “Don’t discard spam on old posts” is selected.

  Also, sometimes the count can increase, but it might take a half hour or so for the comments to show up. See if they don’t show up in an hour.

  Hi, In the past two days someone has started leaving 70 and 80 spam comments on my blog per day. What an I do to put a stop to this?
