Spam comments – Jetpack

  Hi, we’re getting a huge influx of spam comments and it coincided with our Jetpack subscription expiring. Jetpack was disabled on our site a while ago as it conflicted with another plugin. My question is, does Jetpack still protect the site from spam comments even if the plugin is disabled??

  when plugin is disabled it isn’t active so it doesn’t work anymore.
