Spam Comments moderation

  Hi people.

  My blog is http://ateaoscem.com
  and i have custom design.

  There is some possibility to block spam comments by subject?

  I receive a lot of spam comments every day with the same subject, and i want to block them.

  Thank you.

  Yes, go to Dashboard->Settings->Discussion and in either the MOderate or the Blacklist box, put the terms. Of course, if someone makes a legitimate comment about viagra for eg you might miss it, but at least it won’t show on the website. I recommend the Moderate box, so you get a chance to scan it before sending it to Spam.

  The very best thing to do is to mark spam comments as spam so the system can learn from that. If you mark enough of the same type and that gets verified by Akismet, future similar spam comments should get removed automatically.
