SPAM comments mounting all of a sudden

    Hey there, happiness engineers. I seem to be getting a lot of SPAM right now. All of a sudden (and after not posting for a few weeks,) I’m getting tons of comments that are silliness, or sales pitches, but mostly random commentary about random topics. Can you help?

    I’m sorry to hear you’re getting a lot of spam – I know how annoying it is!

    The best thing to do with spam is to mark it as such, which I see you’re doing. This way, over time, the spam filter (called Akismet) will learn to better identify spam and pick it up on its own.

    You might also want to experiment with the commenting options under Settings > Discussion:
