Spam Email

  I received an email that looked like it was from WordPress saying that my website had a fatal error because of a plugin I had installed. It said that WordPress 5.2 sends notifications like this. I checked my site and everything looked okay. I contacted my host, and they told me it was spam and to contact WordPress support about the email.

  No that was not a spam email. Did it look the error this user posted about?

  If so, it wasn’t a spam email, but you would need to reach out to the WordPress.org forums regarding the issue since your site isn’t hosted with us here at WordPress.com. I debugged your site, and as you mentioned, everything came up good.
