Spam email through contact form
-
I have a contact form in my WordPress.com hosted site (https://callflowbusiness.com/hablemos/) and I have been receiving one-line spam emails for the past three days (for example: “quiero ayudar a la gente a ser más feliz”). How can I get this to stop?? All the solutions I find online are for people that have a Business plan and I only have a Personal plan. Help, please!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi callflowbusiness,
Are you using the built-in contact form in the page editor?
If so, I found this article looking in the help site.In a nutshell:
1) Go to your admin interface, in the feedback section (https://callflowbusiness.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=feedback)
2) Mark the sender as spamThat may solve the problem. Let me know :)

Hi wpis1337,
Thank you for your help but sadly that’s not the solution I’m looking for. The spam emails are coming from different accounts and I don’t want to have to block each one when it’s likely it won’t be that same one emailing again anyways.
Is there a way to run a captcha on the standard WordPress contact form or something that does a similar job?

No. You will have to mark each spam response as spam so Akismet learns to identify it as such.
