Spam emails

  I’ve been getting these spam emails from an email that starts with WordPress@ One of the urls that I have for example (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Hi there,

  We do not sell your personal information on WordPress.com, but if you publish your email address on your site (where it is live on the internet) then it is possible for spam bots to scan your site and use that email address to send you unsolicited emails.

  To clarify, the only email address we use here on WordPress.com will have “@wordpress.com” in the URL like (email visible only to moderators and staff) so we do not have control over other people who use the name “WordPress” in their address. We only control email from @wordpress.com addresses.

  With this in mind you may need to adjust your spam filters to block this email as it is not originating from us.
