Spam emails through contact form
-
I’ve been receiving emails, supposedly sent from WordPress via my site’s contact form. These are some of the subjects and senders:
” Con Mucho Respeto “This “Video hack” made $332.50 in 9 minutes!”, Lyndon Legleu via box1099.bluehost.com, Edgardo Arron via box1099.bluehost.com; Con Mucho Respeto “You forgot to check a box.”, Robbi Wilkey via box1099.bluehost.com”. All of them state: “This e-mail was sent from a contact form on Con Mucho Respeto (https://www.linarosarioavellanet.com)”
How do I stop this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

linarosarioavellanet.com is hosted by Unified Layer
Name Servers:
ns2.bluehost.com
ns1.bluehost.comThat site is not on our WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get support for it. Also be aware of who the web host is for your site and contact them directly for any hosting issues.
This is wordpress.COM support. We do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
wordpress.org support
The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
See also https://apps.wordpress.org/support/ for app support.Jetpack support
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.com/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
However, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service -
Thank you for your response, timethief. I am confused. My website is hosted by Bluehost and published by WordPress.com, not WordPress.org. All my documentation and interaction is with WordPress.com. How come my website is not in WordPress.com servers?

Your site is a wordpress.ORG software install hosted by by Unified Layer on their Bluehost servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get support for it.

Hi there,
My website is hosted by Bluehost and published by WordPress.com
Those two things are mutually exclusive. Your site can either be on WordPress.com or on Bluehost, not both.
If you mean you use the WordPress.com interface to publish, that’s only because of the Jetpack plugin on your site, but we have no control over your site itself.
It looks like you’re using the Contact Form 7 plugin for the contact form on that site, so you’ll need to contact their support to find out how to get spam protection for that form.
As an alternative, the Jetpack plugin on your site comes with its own contact form, and that has automatic spam protection just like the contact forms on WordPress.com.
