Spam filter

Hey there – on my blog, http://www.giocosity.com, I get tons of spam comments that don’t get caught by the filters. I mark them as spam, but I’d like to never see them.

This is one that just came through: World Star Xxx commented on Pachelbel Sunday

Well over a year ago, I discovered someone on Twitter who kept posting about one specific composer: Johann Pachelbel …

I do not accommodate, gratify, cater or provide for you,
ever. “The only thing pleasant about her was the way her hair fell across her forehead,”
Joe Fox said, but you’ll discover all kinds of pleasant issues at Cafe Lalo with the classical
and jazz music and specialty drinks and snacks. That key would open a special
door, right around midnight, to a surprise party,
where all the carnal pleasures awaited.

They almost always come through on my post: Pachelbel Sunday. Here’s the link: http://giocosity.com/2013/07/25/pachelbel-sunday/

Just thought I’d let you know. THANK YOU! :-) Heather

    Hi there,

Usually in cases like this, where very similar spam is getting through, it is because a spam message was previously approved which is now allowing other spam through. I very briefly went through the most recent couple of pages of comments and I saw what appears to be at least one spam comment that might be causing some trouble (the name is a pretty dead give away):

You may want to go through the rest of your comments and make sure there aren’t any which have been approved that should not be.
