spam followeres and likes

Add topic to favorites
i am getting anoying follower are likes since 3 or 4 days
please help me i am gettting over 7 mails per each othem
how do i get rid of this spam non stop
!
i took a screenshot of all them that you see them…

Hi

I have been getting a lot of “fake followers with abbreviations like these:

monicablgs
blgrebeca
nikkiblgs
are just some of the “followers” that have “followed” one or all of my sites within the last week or so. References to “Boost Food” or, “What does Acne do to your skin” are link-pages associated with these “fictive” people

I’ve searched through the many options in “settings” but cannot find anything to stop this kind of “unwanted behavior”.

yes they link to “boost food” indeed… is the same case

Yes indeed. I’ve deleted the “followers” but it happens more than once a day, and i have been unable to find another “filter” to help stop this practice. After following my blogs, a number of “likes” of my blogs follows, with someone “liking” 6 or more of them within only a few minutes, which shows that they are not reading them, but only “liking” them.

The same is happening to me. Did you simply delete the followers from the people section?

Yes, but they just come again with the next post, just with other names and addresses.

Hi there,

I know that this is frustrating, but since your sites are public anyone with a WordPress.com account can use the Like button.

My suggestion is to just ignore them as they are usually trying to get your attention.

Hi to you. I have ignored them, and so far today, it seems to work, as I haven’t gotten any further “fake” followers.

I did do some maintenance on my list of followers and have deleted the ones that didn’t have any substance of note on their sites.

Perhaps that helped as well?

i’ve just got > taylor very interested in 7 posts of mine and acne..
seems to be a robot program > new follower name / new 7 posts liked at least twice each day.. is a bummer and no answers from wordpress, so far. thanks for telling me

Well, delete both followers and blogs, and don’t open their website.

Hope for the best.

I’ve been fortunate so far today, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

only did once.. ; / started to wonder if i have that much acne and tthe world is worried about it ; ), they keep on coming will deleted them later.. there should be a way to block a programmed process.. when you recognize a pattern.. 1 follower 7 post coming from the same blog ( i mean they are two) but is the same two..
