spam followers

  Hello, I recently been posting a bit more frequently and noticed I’m getting “followers” that are not “WP registered” and spam followers.. i.e. “i like latinas, girls like girls”, etc.. I mean is there a way to control these kinds of spam or unregistered followers? It’s a shame as many of us on WP are hoping to build a true audience following instead of having these types of “followers”. Much appreciate any suggestions with this. :)

  It’s possible that these slipped through our anti spam system. I’ve just removed those followers. Let me know if you find more.

  Thank you Kardotim! I take it WP users can’t delete followers? Do we make a request to WP if we have spam “followers”?

  That’s correct. You’ll need to contact us in order to request a follower removal.
